Burnout is increasingly present in coaching conversations, although it may not always be the issue a client initially brings to coaching. It can sit beneath conversations about performance, confidence, career direction, boundaries, relationships, health and energy, making it important for coaches to understand what they may be encountering and how to respond within the boundaries of their professional role.
In this interactive session, Jayne Morris MCC, Executive Burnout Coach, founder of Balanceology and author of Burnout to Brilliance, will explore what coaches need to understand about burnout and why recognising the wider context surrounding it matters.
Drawing on her specialist work in burnout prevention and recovery, Jayne will explore:
what burnout is, how it can develop and some of the signs that may be easy to overlook
the wider personal, relational, organisational and systemic factors that can contribute to burnout
